Terms & Conditions

1. The agreement

When you accept a written quote from us — whether by reply email, signature or by paying a deposit — a contract is formed between yourself ("the Customer") and Jarvisly Pro Sdn Bhd ("the Contractor") on the basis of that quote and these terms.

2. Quotes and validity

Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Beyond that we may need to re-price for changes in material cost or site condition. Quoted prices are GST/SST inclusive where applicable under Malaysian law at the date of issue.

3. Deposits and payment

For all work above RM 3,000 we ask for a 30 % deposit to confirm the booking and order materials. The balance is due within seven days of practical completion, payable by bank transfer to our SSM-registered company account. We do not accept cash for amounts above RM 1,000.

4. Variations

If conditions encountered on the roof differ materially from those assumed in the quote (rotten battens hidden under tiles, undisclosed structural damage, etc.) we will stop, photograph, explain and re-quote that portion of the work before continuing. No additional cost is incurred without your written agreement.

5. Access and site readiness

You agree to provide safe, lawful access to the property and to clear the perimeter of vehicles or fragile items before the agreed start date. We will agree exact requirements in advance.

6. Weather and timelines

All timelines are subject to safe weather. We will not work at height in lightning, sustained heavy rain or wind gusting above 40 km/h. Where weather delays a job, we will agree the revised plan with you in writing and there is no additional charge for the delay.

7. Warranties

• Repair workmanship: 12 months from date of completion.
• Restoration workmanship: 5 years from date of completion.
• Full replacement workmanship: 10 years from date of completion.
• Manufacturer warranties on tiles, sheeting and coatings apply separately, on the terms set by the manufacturer.

Workmanship warranties cover defects caused by our installation. They do not cover damage caused by storms beyond design specification, third-party modifications, unrelated structural movement, or fair wear and tear.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel a confirmed booking at any time before work commences. If cancellation occurs more than 14 days before the scheduled start, your deposit is refunded in full less any materials already ordered specifically for your job. Within 14 days, materials and a reasonable scheduling charge may be deducted. See our return and refund policy for the full detail.

9. Liability

We carry public liability insurance of up to RM 2,000,000 per project. Our liability for any single claim is capped at the contract value, except where Malaysian law prohibits such a cap. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or matters that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Disputes

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our work, please tell us first and give us a reasonable opportunity to put it right. Unresolved disputes will be referred to mediation under the Malaysian Mediation Centre before any litigation. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
