Privacy Policy

Last reviewed: 12 May 2026. This policy explains how Jarvisly Pro Sdn Bhd ("we", "us", "our") handles personal data under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

1. Who we are

Jarvisly Pro Sdn Bhd (SSM Registration 202401045678) trades as Jarvisly Roofworks. Our office is at Suite 18-3A, Wisma Central, 147 Jalan Ampang, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. You can reach our data contact at [email protected].

2. The data we collect

We collect only the information you actively give us. Specifically:

  • Name, mobile number and email address you submit through our contact form or share by phone, email or WhatsApp.
  • The address of the property you are asking us to look at, and any photos you choose to send us.
  • Project notes — the type of work, your preferences, timelines and any access requirements.
  • Basic technical data captured automatically when you visit this site: IP address, browser type and pages viewed. This is used for security and aggregate analytics only.

3. Why we hold it

Personal data is used for three purposes:

  1. To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out work you have asked us to do.
  2. To meet our legal obligations — including tax, accounting and warranty record-keeping.
  3. To occasionally share useful seasonal reminders (e.g. pre-monsoon checks) with previous customers. You may opt out of these at any time by replying "stop".

4. Who sees it

Only the Jarvisly crew working on your enquiry. We do not sell, rent or share your data with marketing firms, advertising networks or any third party. The narrow exceptions are:

  • Our licensed accountant, for the limited financial records required for invoicing and audit.
  • Specialist sub-trades (e.g. structural engineers, scaffolders) where their input is needed to complete your job — in which case we share only what is strictly necessary.
  • Government authorities, where we are legally required to do so.

5. How long we keep it

Active enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Completed-project records are retained for seven years from the date of the final invoice, to satisfy warranty and Malaysian tax obligations. Aggregate website analytics are retained for 26 months.

6. Your rights

Under the PDPA you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it if inaccurate, withdraw consent for further processing, and request deletion subject to our retention obligations. Send any request to [email protected] and we will respond within 21 days.

7. Security

Enquiries are stored on access-controlled cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest. Paper-based site notes are kept locked in our Kuala Lumpur office and shredded once digitised. Only the assigned project manager and senior partners have access to your complete record.

8. Updates to this policy

If we materially change how we handle data, we will post the revised policy here with an updated "last reviewed" date and, for material changes, will email past customers.

9. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your data, please write to us first at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Commissioner of Malaysia.
